Definition of a vintage bike bicycle.

Bicycle: a vehicle with two wheels in tandem, usually propelled by pedals connected to the rear wheel by a chain, and having handlebars for steering and a saddle-like seat.

Vintage: the class of a dated object with reference to era of production or use: a hat of last year’s vintage. OR
of lasting interest and importance; venerable; classic: vintage films

It seems many people have a different understanding in terms of what Vintage means, especially when associated with objects such as bikes or cars etc. My personal view is that the term can be loosely used when describing bikes that are a generation apart from the contemporary designs. As a result I am comfortable calling bikes from the 80’s vintage or old school, depending on the style.
